Between Schorte and Schobse

Fluorspar has been mined underground in the Schortetal near Langewiesen for centuries. The mines have been closed for almost 30 years, but the increased world market prices make it more likely that mining will resume. The tunnels have been open to visitors for some time, who can even explore the mine on the tunnel train.
