It is the largest ski jumping spectacle in Thuringia: The Contintental Cup will also be at the Inselbergschanze in 2024 - with such well-known names at the start as Olympic champion and ski flying world champion Robert Johannson, Jakob Wolny, German champion Constantin Schmid and junior world champion Anna-Fay Scharfenberg Zella Mehlis. But the signs point to farewell: the old Inselbergschanze is to make way for a new building. But until the last minute, the weather was a headache for the organizers, as my report for SRF shows.
