Every year on Rose Monday, the market square in Bad Salzungen is transformed into a meeting place for now 8 carnival clubs with all the carnival fans in the city and a large number of guests who come to the spa town in February for this reason alone. And then there is a great celebration.

One hundred years ago, Bad Salzungen received spa town status. A reason to really celebrate, especially since the graduation tower, which is so important for this status and for the many hoped-for spa guests of the future, has been resurrected just in time for the festival.
