Schmalkalden

Many events, entertainment and shows in every corner of the city - that is Schmalkalden between August 16 and 25, 2024. At the end, the 1150th anniversary celebration culminates in the city festival weekend with well-known bands and music from the Salzbrücke to the main stage at the Altmarkt.

Every Friday evening in Brotterode, people get in the mood for the upcoming ski jumping weekend with the welcoming of the teams, the distribution of start numbers and a small party in the Werner Lesser Arena. This will also take place in 2024 despite adverse weather conditions. By the way, for the last time on the venerable Inselbergschanze.
