After the organizers, together with the town, decided to offer Christmas delicacies and other offerings on the market square again, everyone is excited to see how the people of Bad Salzungen will respond to their Christmas market this year.
The whole town is on its feet. A standing parade invites you to stroll, the clubs present themselves with great programs, a cool drink is served in many places and no one will go hungry. In short, Förtha is celebrating 950 years of verifiable local history, and in style.
The annual summit meeting on the Schneekopf is not only attended by ambitious runners who take a variety of routes to the (almost) highest peak in the Thuringian Forest, but also by lots of hikers and families who enjoy nature at the top in the best weather.
