Amidst an exuberant atmosphere and colorful costumes, the women's carnival in the Ilmenau festival hall at the weekend became the stage for the “SRF regional magazine”. Presenter and singer Angie Jahr plunged into the fray to announce the contributions to the half-hour regional magazine and was supported by good-humoured men's dance groups.

The half-hour program has been broadcast on the SRF program since Tuesday and can now be seen daily at 6:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The program can be received free of charge in HD via the cable network of Vodafone, the Lanwegen antenna community, as well as Ilmenau/Nord and am Stollen. A channel search may be necessary. The program will appear online on Friday in the station's media library on srf-online.de and ilmenau.tv.

The SRF is proud to make Ilmenau the backdrop for the regional magazine for the second time in a short time, after the team recently attracted attention at the Christmas market.

As a local broadcaster with around 65,000 cable households in the broadcast area, SRF continually brings regional events and stories into the homes. After being fed into the first Ilmenau cable networks, the presence will now be continuously increased, promises station boss Jörg Pasztori. Ideas and wishes from the people of Ilmenau are also welcome.
