Where the ruler Sheklas reigns

In Schmalkalden the Christmas market is called Herrscheklasmarkt and of course there is a reason for that. In the Lutheran half-timbered town, the red-coated fellow known elsewhere as Nicholas, who has gifts especially for the children, but sometimes also instructions, is called Herrscheklas. And of course there is a good chance that you will come across this one on the Altmarkt.
